Aaron Flint is a conservative talk-radio host, longtime host of the statewide 'Montana Talks' program, and a retired U.S. Army officer who served more than 20 years in the Army National Guard and Reserve. He led combat patrols in Iraq and Afghanistan, earned two Bronze Star Medals, and retired as a lieutenant colonel. A fifth-generation Montanan, he won the 2026 Republican primary for the open 1st Congressional District with roughly 50% of the vote and carried endorsements from President Donald Trump and retiring Rep.
