Maine U.S. Senate

Five-term Republican Susan Collins, the only GOP senator in a state Trump has lost three times, is the cycle's most vulnerable Republican incumbent and won her primary unopposed. Democratic June 9 primary winner Graham Platner (72%) dropped out July 8 amid a sexual-assault allegation, so Maine Democrats are choosing a replacement nominee by convention before the July 27 deadline; the race is rated Toss-up.
