Katherine Anne Castor ( KASS-tər; born August 20, 1966) is an American politician and lawyer serving as the U.S. representative for Florida's 14th congressional district since 2007. The district, based in Tampa, was numbered as the 11th district from 2007 to 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously served on the Hillsborough County Commission from 2002 to 2006.
