Dialog Tracker is an independent research project. By accessing or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What this site is for
Dialog Tracker is provided for research, education, and journalism. It compiles documented associations, funding, and affiliations from public records and reporting, with a citation on every connection. It is a starting point for your own reporting — not a substitute for verifying against primary sources.
An association shown on the board is not an allegation of wrongdoing, illegality, or a personal relationship beyond what the cited source states. The data may contain errors, same-name mismatches, or out-of-date information. Nothing here is an adjudicated fact or a claim that any person has committed a crime. See the About & Methodology page for how to read the board.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site to:
- harass, threaten, dox, intimidate, or incite violence against any person featured in or connected to the data;
- present an association as a proven fact, allegation, or accusation without independent verification;
- break the law, infringe others' rights, or violate anyone's privacy;
- scrape, overload, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure.
Using the content
You may read, quote, and reference the material for journalistic and research purposes with attribution to Dialog Tracker. Where a connection cites a primary source (for example, an FEC or SEC filing), rely on and credit that source. Portraits and organization logos shown here are used for identification only, appear only where openly licensed, and remain subject to their own licenses.
No warranty
The site and its data are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We work to keep the data sourced and correct, but we do not guarantee it is error-free or current.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dialog Tracker and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its data. You are responsible for how you use and republish the material.
Third-party links & donations
The site links to third-party sources and uses third-party providers for hosting and voluntary donations (for example, Givebutter and PayPal). We are not responsible for third-party content or services, which are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Corrections & removal

We may update these terms as the project evolves. We'll change the “last updated” date above when we do; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
