Matthew G. Dunlap (b. 1964) is a Maine Democrat who has served as Maine State Auditor since November 2022. He represented Old Town in the Maine House of Representatives for four terms (1996-2004) and twice served as Maine Secretary of State (2005-2011 and 2013-2021), overseeing state elections. In the June 2026 primary he won the Democratic nomination for Maine's open 2nd Congressional District via ranked-choice runoff, defeating state Sen. Joe Baldacci, and faces Republican former Gov.
