Scott Brown is a Republican former U.S. Senator from Massachusetts who won a 2010 special election to succeed the late Ted Kennedy and served until January 2013, after losing his 2012 reelection bid to Elizabeth Warren; he previously served in the Massachusetts House and Senate. He later served as U.S. Ambassador to New Zealand and Samoa from 2017 to 2020 under President Donald Trump, and has resided in Rye, New Hampshire.
