Christi Jacobsen is Montana's Secretary of State, first elected in 2020 and reelected in 2024, when she drew more votes than any other statewide candidate on the ballot, including President Trump. Before winning the office she served about three and a half years as deputy secretary of state under Corey Stapleton. She ran in the 2026 Republican primary for Montana's open 1st Congressional District, finishing second to Aaron Flint.
