Joe Tate

Joe Tate is a Detroit Democrat, former NFL offensive lineman, and U.S. Marine Corps veteran who was elected to the Michigan House in 2018 and served as the 78th Speaker of the Michigan House of Representatives from 2023 to 2025, the first African American to hold that post.
