Janet Mills is the 75th Governor of Maine, in office since 2019, and previously served as Maine Attorney General. She entered the Democratic U.S. Senate primary against Susan Collins in October 2025 but suspended her campaign in April 2026, citing fundraising challenges against Graham Platner.
