Melisa López Franzen is an American Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL) politician who represented District 49 in the Minnesota Senate from 2013 to 2023 and served as Senate Minority Leader from 2021 to 2023. After leaving the Legislature she became the University of Minnesota's executive director of government and community relations.
