Josh Turek

Josh Turek is a Council Bluffs Democrat, wheelchair basketball Paralympic gold medalist (2016 and 2020), and the first permanently disabled member of the Iowa Legislature, serving in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2023. Describing himself as a common-sense moderate and prairie populist, he announced his U.S. Senate candidacy in August 2025.
