The Claremont Institute is an American conservative think tank founded in 1979 by four students of political theorist Harry V. Jaffa (Larry P. Arnn, Christopher Flannery, Peter W. Schramm, and Thomas B. Silver). Its stated mission is to restore the principles of the American Founding to national life; it publishes the Claremont Review of Books and runs fellowship programs.
