David Humphreys is the president and CEO of Joplin, Missouri-based TAMKO Building Products, a family-owned roofing manufacturer, and one of the most prolific Republican megadonors in Missouri. He and his family were among Josh Hawley's earliest and largest financial patrons, giving millions to Hawley's 2016 attorney general and 2018 U.S. Senate campaigns, before Humphreys publicly turned on Hawley and called for his censure after January 6, 2021.
