Koch-network business and donor group; parent of Freedom Partners Action Fund super PAC
Freedom Partners was a Koch-network hub, operating both a 501(c)(6) chamber of commerce and the Freedom Partners Action Fund super PAC, which raised about $29 million in the 2013-2014 cycle. In 2014 it spent heavily in Iowa to help Joni Ernst, including a $1 million-plus ad campaign against her Democratic opponent Bruce Braley, and it funded the dark-money group Trees of Liberty that attacked Ernst's primary rivals.
