Governor of Michigan
Two-term Democratic Governor of Michigan (took office 2019, re-elected 2022) and a widely-discussed 2028 presidential prospect. Her re-election committee reported roughly $26 million in contributions between January 2021 and September 2022 — a state record — including five donors who each gave $250,000 under Michigan's uncapped recall-provision loophole. Her federal leadership PAC, Fight Like Hell PAC, had about $2.6M cash on hand in mid-2025 and backed 50 candidates in 2024. Her gubernatorial money is Michigan state-regulated and not reflected in FEC filings. [Ballotpedia ↗]
